Photographing Aisha and CJ was nothing short of amazing. The way the sun shown on their skin was truly beautifuL, and not to mention how much fun CJ was having made this shoot a blast for everyone. And top it all off it wasn’t blistering hot that day, it was pretty perfect all around. Aisha is such a beautiful woman, kind, confident and quite mesmerizing. She is simply glowing in these images. Getting to know Aisha and CJ’s babywearing lifestyle –
C. How did you discover “baby wearing” and how has it helped your family?
A. discovered baby wearing in a conversation with Renee about me needing to make mommy friends. She invited me to a meeting and when I saw all the pretty wraps I was hooked. Babywearing has helped my husband and I bond with our son on a deeper level and help me be able to live life even though I have a child strapped to me.
C. What is your favorite “fun” thing to do while baby wearing?
A. My favorite thing to do while baby wearing is cook I love to cook and baby wearing allows me to do what I love and hang out with who I love.
C. What is in your “babywearing” closet?
A. In my baby wearing closet right now I have two ring slings, about six or seven wraps, and a Mai tie.
C.What is your favorite carrier and if it is a wrap what is your favorite wrapping style?
A. My favorite carrier is always changing but for right now it is my Mai tie. I love the ease of use and the flexibility.
C. If you could one piece of advice to someone new to babywearing what would it be?
A. If I could give one piece of advice to someone you too baby wearing it will be to buy what you like don’t get caught up in brands, just go for whatever speaks to you.
